More about The Moody Five
Todd, Katie, Andrew, Conner and Wesley
After meeting in college at Mississippi State University, we were married on June 30, 2001. Several years later, God blessed us with three beautiful boys that bring us so much joy. Throughout our lives, God has used the good and bad of our daily life to prepare us for the is moment of commitment to mission work. Our desire is be obedient to the Lord and to raise our children to Honor the Lord in all they say and do. We have a special place in our hearts for Ministry both in America and Honduras for both adults and children.
Now with all that, we are not perfect – shocking we know. Don’t let those three innocent, beautiful smiles fool you. We are certainly your “average’ family. There are many uncertainties of raising little boys – even for the glory of God; we are loud, we squabble and we often make a mess. As we seek God, we are continually learning and growing.
“We bless others naturally through our strengths. But we bless others supernaturally through our weaknesses…and Scripture makes this clear: God’s power is made perfect in weakness.” (162)
Missionaries do many things today; not all are formal preachers or teachers. All should be prepared, however, as Peter tells us (1 Peter 3:15), to “give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
We believe that our personal commission is the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19), our aim and activities are centered upon making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“By the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Cor 15:10)
